This is the latest that I've been working on. I feel it is the best I've done so far. This is Prismacolor Colored Pencil on Rising Stonehenge paper. 8 X 10
You just made my night. Thank you!!!
Talent, Talent, Talent!
Thanks Susannah. I have never been happy with the scan because it's blurry and just never redid it. This one placed in the State fair and I was really proud of it.
I think you should pick this one and the finished McCaw....it has beautiful colors ........
Do you think the Ducks one would work?
I am from Alaska and have been here 40 years and still love it......this is very, very nice.....quite reminiscent of our "fishing scenes"! Love the soft hazy look.
Thank you so much. I love how the deep blue waters contrast with mountains and snow. I've always wanted to go to Alaska. I appreciate the feedback.
Beautiful colors I would love to go see Alaska one of these days.
Thanks so much. I would like to go there too. Those deep blue waters and snow capped mountains I think would be an awesome sight.
Beautiful! I especially love the haze behind the forested line in the background -- the sense of depth in this is breathtaking and the overall color harmony so striking. Way cool!
Thanks so much. It is really a bad scan too. The images are much clearer IRL. I appreciate the feedback.
I've got a new secondhand digital camera that in the hands of ~alilone, its previous owner, got gorgeous flower macros and brilliantly accurate color unlike my old digital camera. I need to get the installation software downloaded and installed, the CD was missing from the package, but after that I'm going to try to set up some kind of arrangement for photographing art instead of scanning if it's oversize or the scanner's color rendering distorts it too far. It'll take some fooling around to get it, but I've seen some people do photos instead of scans with good effect. Mostly I need to be able to keep the camera resting on something solid instead of holding it in my hand.
Wow! Awesome effect w/ the montains!
this is lovely, i love the mountains and the snow
Holeh crap you're good! I love the tone of the water, 'tis a pretty blue
This is great Bob. I was going to say that this is your best so far, but you beat me to it! I particularly like the water. Good work!!!
Thanks a bunch. I also appreciate you adding me to your friends list and you right. We can't have enough friends.
This is so cool!!! I have such a hard time getting water to look like water.
